M I S I J A

Časopis Kazivač nastaje iz potrebe i želje za pokretanjem studentskog časopisa na Odsjeku za etnologiju i kulturnu antropologiju zagrebačkog Filozofskog fakulteta, sa svrhom postavljanja platforme za prezentaciju studentskih radova, nastalih u sklopu ili izvan nastavnih obaveza, i participacije studenata u znanosti.

Časopis se oslanja se na tradicije publiciranja studentskih časopisa koje su pokretali studenti pri Odsjeku: časopis Svarožić (1991., 1992.) i bilten Mogut (2004., 2006.). Uzorom su mu znanstveni časopisi poput Studia ethnologica Croatica i Etnološka tribina.

Cilj nam je:

• stvoriti okružje koje će djelovati poticajno i potpomažuće za studente etnologije i kulturne antropologije za predstavljanje svojih istraživanja i osamostaljenje u utemeljenom i društveno odgovornom mišljenju;
• stvoriti platformu za kritički dijalog, interakciju ideja i njihovu razmjenu među studentima etnologije i kulturne antropologije u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu, ali i među studentima drugih društvenih i humanističkih znanosti;
• njegovati i poticati stručni i izvannastavni terensko-istraživački rad; poticati studente da oblikuju svoje istraživačke želje i interese, izražavaju svoja mišljenja, te da kolaborativno i samostalno rješavaju istraživačke i društvene probleme;
• osigurati stabilnu i visoku razinu etičke i stručne kvalitete radova kojoj je cilj povećati primjenjivost znanja i prepoznatljivost studentskih doprinosa etnologiji i kulturnoj antropologiji kao znanstvenoj disciplini i humanističkoj znanosti;
• omogućiti studentima njihove prve samostalne publikacije;
• osmišljavati i graditi program časopisa koji će dosljedno prepoznavati potrebe i želje studenata, potrebe struke i suvremenog društva;
• poticati integraciju znanja i istraživanja s neposrednim društvenim okružjem u praktično primjenjivim i društveno odgovornim projektima.

 V I Z I J A

Časopisom Kazivač želimo doprinijeti dugoročnom radu na diseminaciji rezultata suvremenih istraživanja studenata etnologije i kulturne antropologije i regionalnoj i međunarodnoj prepoznatljivosti hrvatske etnologije i kulturne antropologije.

Uredništvo časopisa Kazivač želi dati doprinos razvoju znanstvenog, institucionalnog i društvenog okruženja u kojem će se vrednovati studentski rad u kontekstu najviših standarda osobne i profesionalne slobode, poticati kritičko i konstruktivno mišljenje i poticati djelovanje na oblikovanju održive i odgovorne stručne i društvene zajednice.

M I S S I O N

The student journal Interlocutor arises from a need and wish of organizing a student journal at the Department of ethnology and cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanistics in Zagreb, with the aim of establishing a platform for the presentation of student papers (written as part of the curriculum or in independant student research projects) and the participation of students in the development of our science.

The journal draws upon a tradition of student publications at the Department: the journal Svarožić (1991., 1992) and bulletin Mogut (2004., 2006.). Its exemplars are journals such as Studia ethnologica Croatica and Etnološka tribina.

Its goals are:

• to create an enviroment which will be stimulating and helping for students of ethnology and cultural anthropology – to present their researches, and to become independent in scientificly grounded and socially responsible thinking;
• to create a platform for critical dialogue, interaction of ideas and their exchange between students of ethnology and cultural anthropology in Croatia and abroad, and between students of other social sciences and humanistics;
• to foster and encourage scientific and extra-curricular research and fieldwork; to encourage students toward shaping their research wishes and interests, to express their opinions, and to solve research and social issues independently and in collaboration with other students;
• to ensure a stabile and high level of ethical and professional quality of the published papers, as to appreciate the appliability of knowledge and recognize student contributions to ethnology and cultural anthropology as a scientific discipline;
• to provide students the opportunity for their first standalone publications;
• to create and shape the journals programme which will recognize and acknowledge student needs and wishes, the needs of our discipline and contemporary society;
• to foster integration of knowledge and research with the immediate social climate in practical, applicable and socially responsible research projects.

V I S I O N

With Interlocutor we wish to give a contribution in the longterm effort on the dissemination of contemporary researches by students of ethnology and cultural anthropology, and the regional and international recognition of croatian ethnology and cultural anthropology.

The Editorial Board of Interlocutor wishes to give a contribution to the development of a scientific, institutional and social enviroment in which student work will be recognized and valued in context of the highes standards of personal and professional freedome, to encourage critical and constructive thinking and efforts towards shaping a sustainable and responsible professional and social community.
