1. PRIJAVA RADOVA
Rad na hrvatskom ili engleskom jeziku autori mogu poslati na e-mail adresu casopis.kazivac@gmail.com, u Word Office dokumentu.
Predmet maila treba nasloviti „prijava“, naznačiti format prijavljenog rada (v. niže) te njegov skraćeni naslov. Npr. „prijava rada – članak – (umetni naslov)“.
U tekstu maila treba naznačiti ime i prezime te adresu autora (jednog ili više),[2] puni naslov rada, te sažetak rada na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku.[3] Ove podatke ne treba navoditi u tekstu rada, kako bi se olakšao recenzijski postupak.
Predajom članka ili prikaza autori potvrđuju da je njihov rad vlastiti i originalan prinos; da su podaci izneseni u radu vjerodostojni i u skladu s profesionalnim i etičkim standardima; da rad nije drugdje predan na razmatranje radi objave;[4] da predan rad nije ni u cjelini niti dijelom kopija ili plagijat drugog rada; te da su se autori očitovali o stvarnom ili potencijalnom sukobu interesa povezanih s radom ili djelomičnoj koristi u vezi s time. Predajom rada autori pristaju da članovi uredničkog odbora recenziraju njihov tekst.
2. FORMAT RADOVA
Preporučamo autorima da tekst rada oblikuju sljedećim smjernicama: Times New Roman font; veličina slova 12 točaka; prored 1,5 linija; obostrano poravnat tekstualni blok; paginirane stranice.
Članci trebaju biti veličine od 10 do 15 kartica teksta (18000 – 27000 znakova s razmacima, ne računajući bilješke). Iznimno se prihvaćaju veći radovi. Raspored elemenata u strukturi članka je sljedeći:
- naslov članka;
- abstrakt na hrvatskom jeziku (do 100 riječi);
- ključne riječi;
- tekst članka;
- popis korištene literature.
Prikazi[5] knjiga trebaju biti veličine od 3 do 4 kartice teksta (6000 – 8000 znakova s razmacima). Naslov prikaza mora sadržavati: ime autor/ice čije se djelo prikazuje, naslov djela, izdavača, godinu izdavanja i broj stranica djela.
Intervjui trebaju biti veličine do maksimalno 10 kartica teksta (18000 znakova s razmacima, ne računajući bilješke). Naslov intervjua treba prikazivati njegovu temu i ime intervjuiranih. Prije predstavljanja i transkripta autori trebaju prikazati/objasniti temu intervjua; ovaj prikaz treba biti veličine maksimalno do 3 kartice (6000 znakova s razmacima). Sugovornici moraju dati informirani pristanak i suglasnost za objavu intervjua.
3. CITIRANJE I BILJEŠKE
Kraće citate (do 45 riječi) treba navoditi unutar teksta regularnim fontom slova i označiti navodnicima. Ukoliko je citat veći od 45 riječi, treba ga izdvojiti iz cjeline teksta kao zaseban paragraf (uvlakom), bez navodnika i bez kurziva. Svaki citat treba biti popraćen imenom ili pseudonimom sugovornika/kazivača ili referencom na izvor (v. dolje), osim ako se ime ili pseudonim spominje ranije u tekstu.
Bilješke (footnotes) uvrštavati slijedom teksta, označavati ih arapskim brojkama i koristiti za objašnjenja.
4. REFERENCE I PRILOZI
Reference treba uklopiti u tekst (ne kao bilješke/footnotes). Reference treba navoditi u zagradi i to: prezime autora, godinu objavljivanja korištenog rada i referiranu stranicu.
Primjerice: (Geertz 1973:18-19)
Ukoliko se referirate na tekst autora („sekundarnog“) koji je objavljen u tekstu drugog autora („primarnog“), referencu je potrebno navoditi u zagradi; i to prema niže navedenom primjeru.
Primjerice: (Frykman prema Škrbić Alempijević 2003:71)
Slikovne priloge i tablice ne umetati u tekst, već ih predati kao zasebne datoteke. U tekstu treba jasno naznačiti mjesta s kojima su povezani prilozi, te njihov opis. Prilozi moraju biti numerirani.
Primjerice: Slika 1: (naziv priloga), (mjesto i vrijeme nastanka priloga), (autor)
5. NAVOĐENJE KAZIVAČA[6]
Ime i prezime kazivača, kao i ostali osobni podaci, smiju se navoditi samo uz izričitu dozvolu kazivača. U suprotnom treba podržati pravilo o anonimnosti kazivača i tajnosti njihovih osobnih podataka. U slučaju da kazivači odluče biti anonimni, u tekstu ih se može navoditi inicijalom ili imenom, ili pseudonimom. Ime i prezime kazivača navodi se u zagradi na kraju kazivanja.
Popis svih kazivača koji pristaju na objavu osobnih podataka može naknadno uvrstiti u tekst. Takav popis mora sadržavati podatke:
- ime i prezime/inicijali/pseudonim;
- dob, zanimanje, mjesto stanovanja;
- drugi podaci relevantni za tekst.
6. BIBLIOGRAFIJA
Djela korištena u tekstu rada navesti abecednim redom po prezimenu autora. Više djela istog autora navodi se kronološki.[7]

[1] Ovaj dokument, kao i neki drugi elementi u pripremi časopisa, oblikovan je prema preporukama u Standardu uredničkog rada (V. http://public.mzos.hr/Default.aspx?art=6587).
[2] Rad može potpisivati najviše četiri (4) autora. Iznimno, rad može potpisivati pet (5) ili šest (6) autora. Autori sami procjenjuju trebaju li objasniti doprinos pojedinog autora radu.
[3] Sažetak rada (do 300 riječi) treba sadržavati istraživački problem, problemska pitanja, polazišta, te svrhu i cilj rada.
[4] Uredništvo časopisa Kazivač ne podupire dvostruko ili višestruko slanje radova u više časopisa (eng. double submission). Dozvoljavamo dvostruku objavu istog rada (secondary publication), tj. ako je isti rad prethodno u cjelini ili dijelom već objavljen u drugom časopisu. U ovom slučaju autori moraju u tekstu rada – dodati bilješku na naslov (fusnota) i naznačiti gdje je i kada rad prethodno objavljen.

[7] U slučaju da se koristi više radova istog autora/ice, objavljena iste godine, godine se navode uz dodatak latiničnih slova radi razlikovanja. Primjerice: 2003a, 2003b. Ovo razlikovanje treba dosljedno pratiti i u tekstu.

1. SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Interested authors should send papers in Croatian or English in a Word (.doc or docx) file to the following e-mail adress: casopis.kazivac@gmail.com.
Subject of mail should be titled “submission”, with a description of the formate (see below) and a shortened title of the paper. Ex. “submission – article – (insert title)”.
In the text of the submission mail, authors (one or more) [2] should write their name and adress, full title, and a paper summary in Croatian and/or English[3]. These informations don’t need to be mentioned in the text of the paper, to easen the paper peer review procedure.
With the submission of their paper, authors confirm that their work is ther own and original; that the data stated in the paper are trustworthy and in line with professional and ethical standards; that their paper hasn’t been submissed to another journal for publication[4]; that the paper is not in whole or in part a copy or plagiate of another paper; and that the authors have stated a real or potential conflict of interests regarding the paper and/or benefits from such conflicts. By submitting their paper authors allow members of the Editorial Board to review their paper.
2. PAPER FORMAT
The text of the paper should be shaped following these guidelines: Times New Roman font; size of font 12; line 1,5; justified.
Papers should be between 10 to 15 cards (18000 – 27000 symbols with gaps, not including foot/notes). Larger papers are also acceptable. Elements of the paper should be organized as following:
- title;
- abstract (100 words);
- key words;
- text;
- bibliography.
Reviews[5] of books should be between 3 to 4 cards (6000 – 8000 symbols with gaps). The title of the review should containt: name of author who’s work is being reviewed, title of work, published info, year of publication, number of pages.
Interviews should be up to 10 cards (18000 symbols with gaps, not including foot/notes). The title of the interview should denote it’s topic and name of interlocutor/interviewee. Before the transcription of the interview, authors should explain its topic and motivation.
3. QUOTATIONS AND FOOT/NOTES
Shorter quotes (up to 45 words) should be incorporated into the regular text, in the same font and font size, highlited by quotation marks. Any quotes larger than 45 words should be separated from the text into a standalone paragraph, without quotation marks. Every quotation should be followed by the name or pseudonim of the informant or reference to the source (see below), unless the name or pseudonim are mentioned earlier.
Footnotes should be added into the text, numbered and used for explanations.
4. REFERENCES AND ATTACHMENTS
References/Citations of/to published articles or works should be incorporated into the text, not as footnotes. They should be cited in bracket, as following: last name of author, year of publishing and cited page.
E.g.: (Geertz 1973:18-19)
If refering to a quote of an author (“secondary”) mention in another authors paper/work (“primary”), the referencs should be also cited in brackets, in a following manner: secondary as in primary. In the final list of works cited, it is sufficient to list the primary author.
E.g.: (Frykman as in Škrbić Alempijević 2003:71)
Supplements (pictures, tables and graphs) should be added as separate files, with notations on their place in the text, as described below, with an description (if any).
E.g.: Picture 1: (title of supplement), (place and time of making), (author); description
5. QUOTING INFORMANTS/INTERLOCUTORS[6]
Full names and relevant personal information regarding informatns/interlocutors should be cited only with their explicit allowance; otherwise, authors should abide to respecting the anonimity and secrecy of their informants and their personal information. In the case that informants decide to be quoted anoniously, authors can quote them by their initials or pseudonim.
A list of informants/interlocutors which have given allowance to publish their personal information should be listed at the end of the paper. The list should contain the following information:
- first and last name/initials/pseudonime;
- age, occupation, place of living;
- other information relevant to the text.
6. LIST OF WORKS CITED
Works cited in the text should be listed alphabetically by their last names.[7]
